Roadside Technician 3.5T

Cowan Recovery t/a CMG are seeking applications from talented mechanics to join our Roadside Recovery Teams in Milton Keynes and Northampton

This role will work directly with our control centre and operational teams to carry out roadside repairs and recovery of vehicles in a speedy and professional fashion whilst ensuring the safety of themselves and others at all times.

As you travel nationally from job to job, you’ll be provided with instructions relating to a variety of vehicle incidents, from general breakdown and recovery to road traffic collision and police requested removal   

At scene you’ll call on all your knowledge and diagnostic skills, whilst providing excellent customer care to our clients, to conduct repairs or to recover their casualty vehicle from point of initial vehicle breakdown or collision to a place of repair or storage

It is essential that you have a full Category B Driving Licence.  If you don’t also have Category BE (Towing rights) we are open to funding the training for the right applicant.  

Your technical skills should by matched by your ability to deal with all kinds of people. Whatever the situation, you should be able to remain calm under pressure, friendly and reassuring.

Due to the nature of our works you will be required to undergo Police Vetting.  We do understand that not everyone is a Saint all of the time so please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns around minor or spent offences prior to applying.
